Saudi Super Cup: Ronaldo Sets Historic Milestone Despite Al-Nassr’s Defeat to Al Ahli

Cristiano Ronaldo made history on Saturday despite Al-Nassr’s Saudi Super Cup final loss to Al Ahli.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Portuguese superstar has now become the first player in history to score 100 goals for four different clubs as well as for his national team.

The 40-year-old, who previously starred for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, reached the remarkable milestone after netting from the penalty spot in the final. The strike marked his 100th goal for Al-Nassr.

The thrilling encounter ended 2-2 in regulation time before heading into penalties. Ronaldo opened the scoring with his record-setting goal, but Franck Kessié restored parity for Al Ahli before halftime.

Marcelo Brozović put Al-Nassr back in front early in the second half, only for Roger Ibañez to level once again for Al Ahli.

The match was eventually decided on penalties, with Al Ahli triumphing 4-3, courtesy of a decisive save from goalkeeper Édouard Mendy.

Despite the loss, Ronaldo’s achievement further cements his legendary status in world football.
