Turkey: Osimhen Vows Long Stay at Galatasaray

Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, has reaffirmed his commitment to Galatasaray, declaring that he intends to remain at the Turkish champions for many years.

Osimhen completed a permanent move to RAMS Park earlier this month from Serie A champions, Napoli, after a successful loan spell last season where he quickly endeared himself to the fans.

The 26-year-old was on target in Okan Buruk’s side’s 3-1 victory over Çaykur Rizespor at the weekend, taking his tally to two goals in his last two appearances for the Super Lig giants.

Speaking after the match, Osimhen expressed his joy at returning to Istanbul and the warmth he has received from the club and its supporters.

It’s great to be back. Everyone wanted me and I’m finally in the place I call home. I wanted it so badly. I’ll be here for years to come,” he told the club’s official website.
